WHAT is poetrysailing?
Everyone knows about sailing. Especially on the Adriatic coast. There is no other country in the world where so many sailing yachts are chartered. Sailing holidays are nothing new. But what if we also practice creative and sustainable writing exercises while sailing and then synchronize them
How does it work?
We will meet on Saturday, May 26th, 2025 at the harbor in Pula. First of all, we will get to know each other briefly and organize the food shopping together. We have a "board fund" for this and everyone can contribute €50.
Cooking and eating is done communally. But it is a good idea to take a little change with you, as we will of course find great opportunities to eat Mediterranean food outside.
Every day offers us a theme. Either it is the islands themselves that form the basis for our writing or the distinctive flora and fauna of the Adriatic coast.
We also deal with Croatian legends and myths of the Adriatic coast.
We bring to life German-speaking writers from Croatia who have been forgotten over the centuries.
can i do this?
Anyone who is of legal age and physically healthy is eligible. Sailing experience is not a prerequisite for participation. We have a very experienced skipper on board who will teach you the most important skills.
What does this cost?
The price in the "Early Bird" is 995,00€ .

laundry and final cleaning of the boat
Development of a radio play as an audio file

More information
The courses start at 10 a.m. and end on Saturday morning, depending on the wind and weather.
Please bring sturdy clothing and shoes, a towel, a weatherproof jacket, possibly sunglasses, writing utensils (pad, pens), swimwear and a water bottle.
